you know what's excellent about those old 1950s toy rayguns?

They make no sense, it seems no thought had gone into just how these weapons could possibly operate, and the absurdity this leads to... well its just swell. In a modern age when sci fi Movies rely less and less on lazer pistols and stick to the comfort of lead and logical weapons.

Logic... I ask you.

With these sketches and later the ones I incited others to doodle I hoped to capture the spirit of the insane toy blasters of yesteryear.
